Superior charter township11/14/2023 After passing the bar examination in 1985 Ken embarked upon a 30 year successful practice in of law in Ypsilanti.Īlong the way Ken was elected and appointed to many offices including Washtenaw County Road Commission, Washtenaw County Commissioner, Superior Township Trustee and is currently serving as the Superior Township Supervisor. In January 1982 he began his life as a law student at Thomas M. Like many liberal arts students he applied to law school. At Michigan Ken studied philosophy, history and political science. Ken began his college education by taking night classes at Glendale Community College in Glendale, Arizona and Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn thereafter, transferring to the University of Michigan in 1976. In keeping with his concern for veteran’s health and welfare, Ken is a founding member of the Washtenaw County Veterans Affairs Commission being elected chairman in 2012.Īfter leaving the service and Arizona he returned to Michigan for his education. Ken served as a member of the hospital squadron for over three years until being honorably discharged in 1975. In 1971 he joined the United States Air Force and was stationed primarily at an Arizona fighter pilot training base, the 56 th Tactical Fighter Wing at Luke AFB. After high school Ken went to work at a photographic dye transfer company in Detroit. He was raised and educated in suburban Detroit graduating in 1970 from Cherry Hill High School in Inkster.
